Regulatory affairs
Knowing the regulation is key to a successful entry into the Chinese market, especially consider the constant changes and the complexity of the market.
This includes the Chinese laws and regulations, but also the standards for your products or technologies, the import taxes, VAT and consumption taxes, the labelling requirements, and so on. You may also need to register your company as an exporter first or get an import license for your products before you can export to China. And finally, you want to protect and register your intellectual properties (trademarks, patents) when you set up a trading relationship or partnership with your Chinese customers or partners.
Although Horsten is not a regulatory agency, we have many years of experience and an extensive network to help western companies to manage their regulatory affairs and secure their intellectual properties and know-how.
