A new generation joins Horsten International

Horsten International is proud to announce that on October 1^st 2026 Fien Horsten joined our company. Her arrival marks a special milestone in the history of our family business, as she becomes the first member of the third generation to join the company.

Throughout its history, Horsten International has been shaped by different generations of the Horsten family, united by a long-term commitment to building lasting connections between Europe and China. Fien’s arrival therefore represents both the continuation of this entrepreneurial journey and the beginning of a new chapter.

Fien recently completed her PhD in Biomedical Sciences and brings a strong analytical mindset, together with a keen interest in structure and knowledge development. At Horsten International, she will contribute to the continued professionalization and future-oriented development of our organization.

Her arrival also carries a special personal significance. As the daughter of the late Bart Horsten, she continues a family story built around entrepreneurship, international cooperation and connecting Europe and China. Bart’s vision and international commitment remain an important part of the DNA of Horsten International.

We are particularly proud to welcome Fien to our team. Her arrival represents continuity, renewal and confidence in the future. Together with our colleagues in Belgium and China, we look forward to this new chapter in the story of Horsten International.
