Exportbeurs 2021 – van 9 tot 11 februari 2021

Bart Horsten participated as a China expert at the 3-day virtual Exportbeurs 2021 from 9 to 11 February 2021, organized by Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT). During the event 2000 participants visited virtual exhibition stands, attended digital seminars and met with country experts to discuss their export plans. It was a great event for Belgian (Flemish) companies that want to boost their international business.

On Wednesday 10 February Bart focused on the following topics:

• Marketing in China: analysis of the Chinese consumer and how to use Chinese social media and other marketing platforms.
• E-commerce in China: who are the main e-commerce players in China and how to open a webshop as a Belgian company.
• Supply chain in China: is China still the factory of the world and what are the main challenges in sourcing products from China?
