Project Introduction

The customer is a Belgian manufacturer and distributor of high-quality mattresses and bedroom facilities and accessories. Since a few years the company is also exporting its products to China and Taiwan. The company needed assistance in setting up the legal structure in China and negotiating and signing distribution contracts with its distributors in China and Taiwan.

Initially the main distribution channel in China is through e-commerce. Recently the customer has also signed an agreement with the distributor to open exclusive Nillspring shops in several major cities in China.

Involvement of Horsten International

Horsten is providing strategic and tailor-made legal advisory services to the customer. This includes the drafting and translation of contracts and negotiation of the terms and conditions with the Chinese partners.
