China extends visa-free policy until the end of 2025!

More good news for travelers to China: China has decided to extend visa exemption entry for citizens from 12 countries on short-term visits (no more than 15 days) to China until the end of 2025. Originally the exemption was supposed to end at the end of November 2024.
The visa-free policy is valid for citizens from the following European countries: Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Malaysia. Ordinary passport holders can enter China without a visa if they come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit for no more than 15 days.
This good news was announced by President Xi Jingping during the closing ceremony of the sixth meeting of the China-France Business Council on 6 May 2024.
