Project Introduction

Voka, the biggest Flemish network of enterprises, was established in 2004 as an alliance of the then eight Flemish Chambers of Commerce. As a network VOKA unites more than 18.000 businesses representing 65% of the private employment and 70% of the added value in Flanders and Brussels.

Involvement of Horsten International

Since 2008 Horsten International has been a frequent speaker at VOKA events and seminars. Topics concerned are strategic considerations of doing business in China, China entry modes, cultural differences, sourcing from China, selling in China, e-commerce and social media in China, legal issues, etc. Often also practical case studies and testimonials are presented, based on Horsten’s hands-on experience with the implementation and execution of projects in China, as a consultant, as a trader, and sometimes also as a co-initiator and/or as a shareholder.
