Project Introduction

Roam Technology is a leading Belgian company, set up in 1984 and specialized in the development and production of effective and sustainable disinfection solutions for various applications such as horticulture, livestock, healthcare and more. The family-owned company’s headquarter, its new state-of-the art production facility and main distribution centre are based in Genk, Belgium.

Roam Technology’s main brand is called Huwa-San, the original silver stabilized hydrogen peroxide. The unique formulation makes Huwa-San a powerful, highly effective, braod spectrum disinfectant that is both stable and safe.

Involvement of Horsten International

Due to the growing concern for hygiene and the increased requirements for high-quality products in Asia and China in particular, in 2018 Roam Technology decided to expand its business to additional regions, including China. 

Horsten performed a general analysis, including a research about the presence of other foreign and domestic companies in the same sector in China, possible (cross-border) e-commerce platforms which could be approached for Roam Technology’s products, research about the regulatory situation in China and the search for potential distributors in China.
