Wim Horsten becomes new Managing Director of Horsten International

It was with deep sadness that Horsten International said goodbye in September to Bart Horsten, its Managing Director and driving force behind the company, who died unexpectedly in a tragic car accident in Germany. Bart was not only a visionary entrepreneur and China expert, but also a warm and inspiring personality who left a lasting impression on his family, colleagues and customers.

In the spirit of continuity and with respect for the impressive legacy that Bart has built, Horsten International announces that Wim Horsten will take on the role of Managing Director.

Wim Horsten has been active as an entrepreneur and China consultant since 2001. He has been closely involved for years with the activities of Horsten International and MyChinaWeb, the digital marketing agency for China founded in 2016. With his economic background and extensive experience in supporting European companies with Chinese operations, Wim is perfectly suited to continue the leadership of Horsten International.

Based in Belgium, and in close cooperation with the team in China, Wim remains committed to supporting European companies in their strategic and operational steps in the Chinese market. His regular presence in China and his in-depth knowledge of local business culture make him a reliable partner for companies looking to grow in or with China.
