{"id":2482,"date":"2023-09-13T10:04:37","date_gmt":"2023-09-13T08:04:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/horsten.be\/case\/dinol\/"},"modified":"2025-06-05T20:53:00","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T18:53:00","slug":"dinol","status":"publish","type":"case","link":"https:\/\/www.horsten.be\/nl\/case\/dinol\/","title":{"rendered":"Dinol"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Project Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The German customer is one of the leading, worldwide operating suppliers of systems for bonding, sealing noise reduction, abrasion protection, corrosion prevention, other coatings and&nbsp;application equipment.&nbsp;Its products are sold in the vehicle aftermarket, bus &amp; railway sector and in other industries in more than 60 countries through more than 50 agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The customer was planning to develop its business in China and therefore had contacted Horsten to do a market investigation and assist the company with its China entry plans. Initially only the opportunities for the vehicle aftermarket business were investigated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Website<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dinol.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.dinol.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Involvement of Horsten International<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Horsten performed a market investigation, a distributor\/partner search and gave general strategic advice and market entry recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following items were analyzed during this market investigation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>General status of the Chinese market of&nbsp;similar products in the vehicle aftermarket sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competitive analysis of domestic and international players in China<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Distribution channels and dealer structures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pricing and marketing strategies of the international players in China<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General feasibility study, including regulatory issues, as well as possible technical, operational, logistic and economical constraints<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This investigation was mainly be done through desk research, partly also through a limited field research (i.e. visits to car dealers, do-it-yourself shops, local distributors or wholesalers, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the early start of the project Horsten also searched and identified possible distributors, agents and\/or other potential partners for the customer.
